scammed on e bay still awaiting refund

Hi 

I bought an item on e bay and paid with paypal 

within 30 mins e bay e mailed me and said the seller and the item has been removed 

and my purchase has been cancelled 

e bay have contacted paypal  and said a refund will be issued to my account 

I am still waiting for this refund 

as I wish to buy the same item from a trusted seller on ebay 

and have it in time for Christmas 

you would imagine that paypal could speed things up  knowing that ebay have explained the situ to them 

very very frustrating and takes the good out of everything

Sorry you did not receive your item, however we had closed the case in your favour on the 5th December.

Looking at the details though your funds are still on hold and I can see this is due to you having a paypal case open.

I understand you may feel that you are being passed back and forth but as this case is open with them we cannot assist with your refund only paypal can assist you to getting this resolved.
