What happens to funds transfereed from Banking Account to Paypal account both account are linked

I have tried to add money to my Paypal (Name in English) account from my linked  Greek account (Name in Greek). I followed the instructions I received a receipt for the bank for successful transaction, but no money in Paypal. Are my funds Gone?

Can sometimes take up to a week to transfer and hit your balance.

However if for any reason it fails the funds should go back to the funding source you used to send them.
