Way to pause payments, due to pandemic having an impact on income

Is there a way to place a hold on making future payments due to the pandemic?

Not sure what type of payments you are referring to here. Usually you can go to your payment history and click on the merchant & go from there to cancel payment or pause (if available). Such as with Hulu or Spotify in my experience.
