Unable to reuse Credit Card on New PayPal accouunt

Seeking guidance/HELP please.

1. I created a NEW Paypal account today and CLOSED the account today REMOVING my credit card details (2 confirmation emails received). Under my current account I am now unable to add my credit card. I keep receiving message that my "card is linked to another account, remove it from the other account'"  Doesn't this happen automatically? and if not how long before I can add the card on the account?

2. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and trying to LINK my bank account on Paypal, but it is not allowing it...any HELP here is appreciated.

1. Normally you can only link a card to a paypal account 3 times in that cards lifetime, so if you are going to keep opening and closing paypal accounts for some odd reason then you may run out of card lives.

Secondly you should allow at least 72 hours before trying to add the card to a new account to allow the system to play catch up, then you should be able to add it as long as you have not done this 3 times already OR left it on the old account and not removed it BEFORE closing the account.

2. You can't link a bank account in your country, only a card.

You also need to read this policy as you are in 1 of the affected countries.
