Unable to add a second bank account (from same bank)

I'm trying to link a second bank account (from the same bank) to my Canadian PayPal account, but it just times out with either an "Oops something went wrong" error or "The request timed out" error. I contacted support and they checked my account and said everything looked good, no restrictions etc. and to wait 6 hours (?) before trying again. Still getting the same errors. Why can't I link to the second account?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

 

It could be a security matter. Have you tried clearing cache & cookies & using a different browser? Usually, we would not be able to manually change the security settings. However, you can try clearing your cache and cookies, deleting your browser history and waiting for 48 hours without accessing your account to let the system reset. This may help you solve the issue!
