Trying to add money to my Paypal account

I have an American Express debit card that is linked to my Paypal account. I would like to take money from that debit card and put it directly into my PayPal account. I do not want to change my preferred method of accepting payments. I tried sending an invoice to myself it never came. I tried creating a pay me link but there are no options but to login to my account which doesn't help at all. Any solutions? Can I not send money to myself?

You can only 'add' funds to a paypal account via a bank account and not a card.

Unless its a paypal cash card.
