Hello,

I recently transferred some money from my bank account to my paypal, it says that the money will be in my account on the 1st March 2019. its the 3rd of March and still no sign of anything.

My bank has already taken out the money from there on the same day i transferred it but on paypal it just says 'pending'.

I'll check tomorrow as it may just be a working day thing as it is a Sunday today.

Any help appreciated!

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant.
Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT there are 2 options in your paypal account and you must have selected the slower option of the 2.

Funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.

However you never need funds in your Paypal account balance as a buyer. When you purchase an item then Paypal credit the seller for you, this is so there is no delay in the despatch of your item. Paypal will then take the wait for the funds to transfer to reimburse them.
However they only take that 'risk' if you pay...

1. Bank transfer but have a back up card linked to your account as well.
2. Debit or credit card.
If you have option 1 but have no back up card linked then your payment may go as an echeque and you and the seller will have to await clearance.
