Hello everybody, I know there are many threads on this, but I just thought I would share my point of view on this situation. So I opened a paypal account not too long ago because a friend recommended it to me. I opened it and had no problem at all, suddenly it tells me "your account has been limited" so I thought, well probably happens to everybody, uploaded my ssn (which is extremely private), uploaded my proof of address, my driver's license and other proof of identity, it took them more than two week! I finally contacted support and they restored the account. I finally was able to use my paypal balance, so I wanted to try buying crypto and sending money to a friend, I bought ethereum with no problem and waited to sell it and earn a little money, finally I tried sending money to a friend and BOOOOOM! The "quick security check" came on, of course me already confirming my IDENTITY, my phone number and sharing very private info, I said well i'll just add the number, and immediately an error, "this type of phone number isn't supported", hmmm, weird! So I contacted support team, up to today, I have had 15 conversations related to the issue, every agent asking me the same and some telling me different stuff, one even told me to add my bank account since I couldn't use my paypal without it, I finally added it and confirmed it. I wanted to send money or sell crypto, and guess what! That beautiful message "quick security check." Today the agent told me to use another payment gateway, can you imagine that? I'm actually thinking paypal stole my money, if not even them can resolve their own "system" issues, than who can? I would be losing more money than I've already lost, and truly it's disgusting. My recommendation to all new folks, don't even think on approaching paypal, if this doesn't get resolved, i'll be losing all my money, or paypal will be stealing all my money, sincerely hope all of you don't pass through this, I will be updating all of you and hopefully I can recover my money, if not, I'll have to take legal action.
