Payments randomly placed on hold

Why are all the payments that I am requesting and invoice payments going straight to pending? The emails say that it is unusual activity for my account but Ive had payments that are all the same value and even more and yet you still place them on hold. Some payments would go through while others would be on hold. The values of the payments are the exact same and have been for the past month
