I have a regular weekly transaction with my client as a Virtual Assistant and we never had a problem before. Now the payment he sent shows as pending status . but he did verified on his end that it was sent successfully.
I also tried sending message through your help center PAYPAL but not getting any response . Now I only needed an answer or a timeframe. But what's happening with your customer service? I haven't even received a reply even an assurance of help. Is this the new way that you're treating your customers? I have alot of VA friends and community and if I wont get help ASAP i will tell them how you treat your customers and I think Remitly is way better than this mode ????. No response. No nothing? Or atleast even a chat bot to say that no one is around???????

Hello, @kirhyuan. Thanks for taking the time to add your concern here on the PayPal Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you haven't received a reply back to your message through the Help Center. That's not the kind of experience PayPal wants for customers.
Based on what you mentioned in your message, it sounds like the payment you received was affected by PayPal's Funds Availability Policy, or the payment was sent in a way that it is taking longer for the money to become available. If the Funds Availability Policy Applies, you will see the money in your balance but it will be in a Pending Balance. If the money hasn't been deposited into your balance yet, that's probably because it was sent as a eCheck and PayPal doesn't have the money yet.
PayPal's Funds Availability Policy causes money to be placed into a Pending Balance, but as you develop a more extensive transaction history with no issues (like buyer complaints or limitations), holds will become less frequent and may disappear altogether. The Policy helps PayPal make the online marketplace safer and it helps us manage the risks involved in operating as a worldwide Money Services Business. You can see more information about the Funds Availability Policy in the Help Center.
If the payment was funded by an eCheck, PayPal can only ask for your patience as we wait right alongside you for the eCheck to clear. If an eCheck was used (check with the sender and have them review the transaction in their Activity), PayPal doesn't have control over the process of how the money is delivered to us, and it's not instantaneous like other payment methods (credit/debit cards and some bank funded transactions are instantaneous).
I hope this information is helpful. Thanks for your patience during this time.
Sincerely,
Michael
