I need to recover funds which were paid to me by a company a few days ago. Unfortunately I had a bad/old Debit or credit card on file in that account on PayPal. The funds supposedly went to this account. Unfortunately I couldn’t verify the account number which was paid. All I had was the last 4 digits and they are not in my list of bank or credit cards. I replaced the account with the correct information for payment but it was already too late. I could really use some help here as PayPal says I need the old full account number. I don’t have that number. The company who paid me says they can’t retrieve the funds. Once it’s out it’s gone. Makes no sense. Please assist.
