Tried to send $4,000 to my son for emergency. I have been PayPal verified for several years and so has my son. PayPal security flagged transaction and blocked it. Spoke with Gail and then Nel S. To escalate issue and they could not provide details nor escalate to security or a supervisor to review and approve transaction. I do not need this hassle for a simple transaction especially after going through 3 different security protocols to make the transaction online. Sell your stock, customer service is terrible and attitude was take your business elsewhere. No problem

This service isn't worth the time of day. Any service that supports (in this instance, funds) online fraud over the working class. Isn't worth keeping in business. Funny, I found a ton of sites that are simply wanting to put this place out of business. Time for me to join the ranks. 🙂

Just got off the phone (finally after waiting so &%$# long) with PayPal. Started off towards the end of Oct when I received some emails about items I allegedly had for sale on eBay. I contacted eBay via phone and told the person I did not have anything listed, they said they would check into it. I think the next day I received a message that my acct had been hacked and they removed 10 fraudulently listed items.
days went by and messages about cases opening and closing thru eBay. I initially changed my eBay, PayPal and email passwords, and upon checking my PayPal acct found one payment in access of $500 was there that should not be. I checked the transaction and called eBay advising them of the matter. I was told they had issued several refunds on fraudulent 'buys'. I asked if they showed the one item that was listed in PayPal and was told yes, but not to issue a refund since they did not want to issue any double refunds, and I was told not to communicate with anyone via emails about these listings.
To make a very, very, very long story a might shorter, I contacted eBay a couple of weeks later and was told my acct was clear. I again advised of the amount in my PayPal acct...
Now it seems the very knowledgeable but stupid folks at PayPal want ME to be responsible for some of the fees associated with this fraudulent transaction. They actually want me to pay $31.00 and some change......temper.... I gave them a piece of my mind, advising that I would not pay one red cent in regards to this transition. I told the female that PayPal had received the total purchase price of the non existent item and that they should return the full price to the victim who bought the non existent item. However it seems PayPal resides in another galaxy where common sense has no place. After arguing over and over, they (PayPal) thinks I should pay this. I told her not no but hell-no and that they had better not remove it from my bank acct or I would take legal action.
I wanted her to delete my acct but was told they could not due to 'me' owing them money? Ha! They got the full amount yet I owe them!
I'm through with this idiotic company and went straight to eBay and deleted my acct I've had for over 20 years.
PayPal wants to make me to pay yet they received the full amount!
I never uncounted such stupidity before.

I can't add a bank account, nor use my balance for purchases. PayPal doesn't just suck, they're scammers! The customer support only replied when I made a post here and wasn't helpful at all. They literally replied that "I agreed to their terms and services". They know I cannot sue them since I reside in Egypt, but I'll be sure to make this a priority once the travel restrictions are lifted!
