PayPal **bleep**

Tried to send $4,000 to my son for emergency. I have been PayPal verified for several years and so has my son. PayPal security flagged transaction and blocked it. Spoke with Gail and then Nel S. To escalate issue and they could not provide details nor escalate to security or a supervisor to review and approve transaction. I do not need this hassle for a simple transaction especially after going through 3 different security protocols to make the transaction online. Sell your stock, customer service is terrible and attitude was take your business elsewhere. No problem

This service isn't worth the time of day. Any service that supports (in this instance, funds) online fraud over the working class. Isn't worth keeping in business. Funny, I found a ton of sites that are simply wanting to put this place out of business. Time for me to join the ranks. 🙂

PayPal straight up sucks booty. I sent $600 to my wife through Facebook and because she had canceled her lost bankcard, Facebook defaulted her payment and receives option to an old PayPal account from about 10 years ago. Of course, PayPal accepted the payment, however our PayPal account had been deactivated due to no activity. Jump through this and that hoop, 5 days later, we can get into the account, but no way to get to the money.....we can see the $600 sitting there, but no wY to transfer it because every time we try to add a bank account or bank card, PayPal wants to authenticate the transaction using her old phone number even though her new number has been added and set to primary. Long story short, was able to send it to MY PayPal account minus a $18 transaction fee.....and of course, as I added my new bank card to complete the transaction from my PayPal to my bank, the system tells me it's being sent by mail. Paypal use to be a great company with some pretty stellar support......not it just plain sucks.

Just got off the phone (finally after waiting so &%$# long) with PayPal.  Started off towards the end of Oct when I received some emails about items I allegedly had for sale on eBay.  I contacted eBay via phone and told the person I did not have anything listed, they said they would check into it.  I think the next day I received a message that my acct had been hacked and they removed 10 fraudulently listed items.

days went by and messages about cases opening and closing thru eBay.  I initially changed my eBay, PayPal and email passwords, and upon checking my PayPal acct found one payment in access of $500 was there that should not be.  I checked the transaction and called eBay advising them of the matter.  I was told they had issued several refunds on fraudulent 'buys'.  I asked if they showed the one item that was listed in PayPal and was told yes, but not to issue a refund since they did not want to issue any double refunds, and I was told not to communicate with anyone via emails about these listings.

To make a very, very, very long story a might shorter, I contacted eBay a couple of weeks later and was told my acct was clear.  I again advised of the amount in my PayPal acct...

Now it seems the very knowledgeable but stupid folks at PayPal want ME to be responsible for some of the fees associated with this fraudulent transaction.  They actually want me to pay $31.00 and some change......temper....   I gave them a piece of my mind, advising that I would not pay one red cent in regards to this transition.  I told the female that PayPal had received the total purchase price of the non existent item and that they should return the full price to the victim who bought the non existent item.  However it seems PayPal resides in another galaxy where common sense has no place.   After arguing over and over, they (PayPal) thinks I should pay this.   I told her not no but hell-no and that they had better not remove it from my bank acct or I would take legal action.

I wanted her to delete my acct but was told they could not due to 'me' owing them money?   Ha!   They got the full amount yet I owe them!

I'm through with this idiotic company and went straight to eBay and deleted my acct I've had for over 20 years.

PayPal wants to make me to pay yet they received the full amount!

I never uncounted such stupidity before.

I can't add a bank account, nor use my balance for purchases. PayPal doesn't just suck, they're scammers! The customer support only replied when I made a post here and wasn't helpful at all. They literally replied that "I agreed to their terms and services". They know I cannot sue them since I reside in Egypt, but I'll be sure to make this a priority once the travel restrictions are lifted!

oh I completely agree I could care less about them refusing my services but or not allowing me to use their services but if they're going to do that then how are they still able to hold my money for 180 days it is government money it's not even sent from a person that sent from unemployment office to me it's money I need to survive off of but they have the right to hold it for 180 days I'm literally to the point of going to get a lawyer or going to the state's attorney general or the better business bureau I don't know I don't see how this is legal I really don't. I'm glad that I'm finding this out now though and I can be completely done with PayPal because there is so many other apps we can use out there we don't need PayPal and it's more of a pain in the **bleep** than anything because you can't talk to nobody and when you do their **bleep** I cussed one girl out and she just kept saying I hold your money 180 days how can they do that and then I can't even get a refund either like I can't figure out how to ask to refund the money back to the unemployment office at least
