On hold payments

This is the first and last time I will be using a selling app the requires payments through PayPal. I did not do enough research when signing up for Depop to realise that the payments go through PayPal. I have sent a few items and have had feedback from all my customers confirming that they have received the goods and are satisfied with them but yet my payment is still on hold. They have no option to push the payment themselves and I am worried to sell anymore items as I’m worried as to when and how I access my funds. I feel that when a customer has received their goods, they should have an option to push the payment I don’t understand why PayPal is the one that is in control of this especially as the trying to contact them is a waist of time! Calling them is useless and when using the messaging service as soon as I click on the issue, I get a response explaining what the reasons could be for the hold and then I have no option to further investigate. I realise that as a new seller there are risks but it have been nearly 3 weeks since my first sale and I’m fuming that I have received no money for it/them!!!
