Negative balance--cannot correct it

I have a negative balance; Two funds transfers to my account from 4 weeks ago were disputed last week.  As a result, it says that the payments from said individual are stated as "Hold-pending."  It has been like this for nearly a week, now.  I tried to click on the "Add money" button, but even then it won't let me add funds in order to return my balance to $0.00 or positive value.

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Or mail a cheque as per link.

5. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.

Hi. 

     Thanks for suggesting possible solutions.  The issue eventually resolved on its own after I contacted the initial sender of funds (at the time, the wording of the dispute claim that caused the negative balance was ambiguous as to whether s/he was claiming a dispute or that someone had hacked into my account and was claiming a dispute on my part [which wouldn't make sense at all]).

 

     Solution 1) didn't work; I tried to add funds from my bank account, and the "Next" button at the bottom of the page didn't respond.  I mentioned this to the customer service representative. 

     I guess the resolution to my problem might have fallen under solution 2), as my account negative balance cleared after I contacted the sender.
