Hi. Thanks for suggesting possible solutions. The issue eventually resolved on its own after I contacted the initial sender of funds (at the time, the wording of the dispute claim that caused the negative balance was ambiguous as to whether s/he was claiming a dispute or that someone had hacked into my account and was claiming a dispute on my part [which wouldn't make sense at all]). Solution 1) didn't work; I tried to add funds from my bank account, and the "Next" button at the bottom of the page didn't respond. I mentioned this to the customer service representative. I guess the resolution to my problem might have fallen under solution 2), as my account negative balance cleared after I contacted the sender. Thanks again for your suggested solutions.
