I've had a paypal account for years but this is my first time on the forum. Just celebrated by birthday and a payment I’ve issued for the party is still on hold. First I run it through my bank account and was hit with a 6 day delay, called spoke to an agent and was told I that the reason for the delay was because I didn’t use a debit/ credit card.
So I did another transaction with my debit card. The money was immediately deducted from my account but now my recipient tells me it will take 21 days to clear. I’m so embarrassed. Does anyone have any guidance on how I can fast track this I promised payment no later than the 10th.
Also is there a 24 hour helpline for PayPal. Time one size I’m about 9 hours ahead of the US and can’t get anyone on the line for the next 6-7 hours or so.
