My debit card was charged the day "after" I removed it from my paypal account.
On July 11th I scheduled a payment. On July 13th, After finding out the transaction was not on the level (seller fraud), I called my bank and had them put a stop to the Paypal charge. I couldn't stop it in paypal - it said pending but did not give a "cancel" option. I did although do a dispute with the resolution center and it is currently pending. Also on the 13th I removed my debit card as a payment option with Paypal.
On the 14th after the payment was rejected by my bank, Paypal then charged my Debit card - on the 14th AFTER it was removed as a payment option.
I spoke with a girl at Paypal customer service (Glen ID#1296345) who says that there is nothing they can do and there is no one else to talk to. Really?
Any advice is appreciated.
