Currency converter is not working.

For a couple of days I've been trying to convert some British pounds to Australian dollars but I keep getting this error message: "We're sorry, something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again later." 

Not sure why!

Seems to be a worldwide paypal glitch with currency conversions at the moment.

I still cant get the currency converter to work. I also cant get ahold of anyone at paypal via message center or calling

were you ever able to get it to work? is this just something i have to wait out? This is awful i need my money

I just transferred it to my bank account and converted it there.

Is that an option for you?

Can i ask what bank you use and if you could do it on your bank app?

 i tried to look on my bank and i cannot see anything about converting currency

Well it's an Australian bank so it automatically converts to Australian currency.

Perhaps call your bank and ask for assistance?

I received the following message from Paypal today:

No worries,m it has already been escalated and our Product engineers are working on it. It was put under our priority list right now and almost done fixing the issue. You will be notified via email once it is fully fixed. Thank you so much for being so understanding.
