Can't link Irish bank account to my PP

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have tried customer support but they don't seem to 'get' what I am talking about!

I have some US dollars in my PP account and I wish to transfer them to my Irish bank account. 

I have already added and verified a debit card (only works for money going out ie online purchases) but I am not allowed to add an Irish bank account (it is not in the list of countries and IBAN is not recognised when I enter it).

Can anyone help please? This has been going on for a couple of weeks now and I am getting quite worried. Thanks a lot.

You wouldn't be able to withdraw USD anyway, you would have to convert them first OR spend them with someone that accepts USD.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried converting some of it but it still won't let me link a bank?
