please remove the fancy video background, it just SLOWS the log in process significantly.
I am annoyed each time I log on. Does anyone else think this is annoying? We don't need to be impressed by Paypal's coding skills, we just want to access our accounts effieciently! thank you!
Amen! Remove the video background on the log-in page. I cannot think of anything on any web site that is so hugely irritating as these closeup videos that seem to have nothing whatsoever to do with PayPal and the services I am seeking. The videos detract hugely from any image of professionalism. As a marketing executive myself, I would love to know what PayPal is trying to accomplish. What I can tell you from personal experience is that it is a huge mistake to irritate your users -- and everyone I have talked with is genuinely irritated by these videos. The videos remind me of the "great" but totally idiotic ideas I sometimes see from my own creative department. These thing are done by people totally out of touch with the real purpose of your business.
Here we are in 2015 and PayPal brings the video back. Again......why? It's just as annoying as last years only this time, you remove the pause button. That is just plain cruel. Who decided that seeing a video that junks up your cache, is what ANYONE wants to see? I want to log in, conduct business and get out. I don't want or care to see a video about someone looking at their phone or tablet. Seriously, WHO CARES. It's not professional and again... it's more than irritating, but I can't write what I realy think about it because the moderators would remove it, so instead, why don't you remove EVERYONE'S irritation. If anyone tells you that they like it, they are lying!
I agree. This login process loops me through 4 to 6 itereations of the first screen, timed out login, first screen, timed out login, business loan page, etc. I am really angry and have gotten nothing but canned irrelevant responses from PayPal.
