Unfortunately you are just shooting from the hip. defending palpal from a position of gross ignorance helps nobody. I have been living in SE Asia for the last 6 years and do on occasion buy stuff from eBay. I brought a few items recently and had to return one of them to China and was wanting to check on the refund status. The colossally useless paypal then decided to 'protect' my account because they didn't like the machine that I always use. This has happened on occasion in the past however resetting the account was relevantly straightforward. Now I am in limbo. I don't want to make expensive calls to sort out their incompetence but there seems to be no other option. Short term I need to reactivate my account but ideally I would like ditch them for good so good. Do you have anything useful to offer at all?
