Why does Paypal push the Debit Mastercard when they won't let you maintain a cash balance? I transfer money from my bank account into paypal so I have it available for my workers yet as soon as I purchase something on eBay or elsewhere it always has to deplete my Paypal balance first. Pretty stupid if you ask me. If you have a Debit Mastercard, you should be able to lock the Paypal balance for use with the card. Otherwise it makes no sense to have it because there never is any cash available. The backup funding hasn't worked and won't work on cash advances and that defeats the purpose of having the debit card. Why such a silly policy? I would think Paypal would make more money off the money in the account than to force a dual payment for a purchase.
