  • What if I don't want to use my PayPal balance to make a payment?

We always use your PayPal balance first. If you don't want us to use your PayPal balance, you can withdraw it before making a payment. Once your balance is zero, then you can select a default payment method like your bank account or credit card to make the payment.

This is the PayPal policy and I think it **bleep**. On occasions, I make purchases of business related expenses and would like to have the full amount of these purchases go to the business credit card I use for these type of expenses. Not possible to do short of playing these silly games of withdrawing the balance first, and then refunding the account later.

I think this is a very stupid policy, and I know some poeple will tell me to open another paypal account etc... and I know there are ways to do things differently, but it is a waste of time and energy.

What I really wish for, is that the consumer base using paypal, voice their concern about this issue if you agree with the above.

I agree with you 100%. I am fed up with not being able to specify a funding source priority preference that is honored. I'm more than FED UP WITH IT!

Totally agree.  This is one of the WORST components of PayPal.
