When I logged into PayPal I got a message saying I needed to verify my phone. I did so by entering the code they texted me. Then when I clicked on "send a payment" I got the message saying "unable to process this transaction". When I click "Try again" it says to verify my email. I click on the "send email" button and I don't get an email. I checked my inbox and my spam folder, and I've gone through this many times. I tried calling but all the automated system says is that I need to verify my email, or I don't have sufficient funds (which isn't true), or I need a new payment method (which, since it won't even let me enter an email address for the payee, let alone choose a payment method, is bogus).I couldn't get past the automated prompts. This is very frustrating and I am ready to close my PayPal account over this; Venmo is much smoother.
