how can I change my primary email address and why is paypal not user friendly

Hi there drgradydeal,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

You can change your primary email address, you can follow these steps: 

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
3. Click Update beside the email address you want to make primary.
4. Check "Make this my primary email for receiving notifications."
5. Click Change Email.
