Won't let me make new password

This is an alternate account as I can't get into my current one.

 

PayPal disabled my password due to suspicious activity when in reality the site barely works, and I had to send verification codes several times to my phone just to connect it to my Google Play Store. The email sent told me to click “Having trouble logging in?” and then make a new password. After typing it in and clicking save, it doesn't send me to a new page but reloads the page I made the password on. After repeatedly pressing save, occasionally it would pop up a CAPTCHA to confirm I'm not a robot, but after that nothing. Then when I try logging in with both the old and new password, it keeps telling me I need to reset my password.

 

How do I get into my account?

I'm sorry to hear that there was difficulty regarding your passwords. Have you tried contacting PayPal to report the issue? If there's a technical problem, a representative can forward your information to technicians to allow an investigation.
