Updating surname

Hi I have logged a request about 3 days ago to update my surname as I am now married. I sent the docs online but heard nothing. Checked last night and it's still in my maiden name. Sent the request again just incase the first one wasn't received. How long does it take to update normally?

Depends on how busy customer services are and when they get around to your turn in the queue.

Can be a few weeks.
