I received a letter today from PayPal. What concerns me is the mailing is addressed to "Kaitlin Ashley", not me. This name is unknown to me, and we have lived at our address - a single family dwelling - since 1996. The post office also was in doubt about the mailing as they've attached a decal to it stating "IF THIS PIECE OF MAIL IS NOT YOURS, RETURN TO BOX AND PUT FLAG UP. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON IT. THANK YOU!!"
The mailing feels like it has a debit/credit card in it. I've checked my PayPal account online and see nothing out of the ordinary. I grabbed a copy of a credit report via AnnualCreditReport.com and found nothing concerning there, either.
Has anyone recently received an odd mailing from PayPal similar to this?
