No notifications of returned payments?

Hi all,

 

There is a discrepancy between the amount paid to me by a reputable online company and my paypal activity. Turns out, I wasn't accepting the payments. There are three "missing payments"; two of which are definitely 30 days over acceptance and one is today. 

 

Today I received a "final warning" from paypal about an amount that was due to be returned to sender in a few days time, when I acted upon it I saw the other amounts. Thing is, even if they've been sent to my email and I've accidentally deleted them, I've received no notifications on my PP account re these returned payments....

 

Is this normal?
