International Phone Number

I live in the UK, but I am French and have a French phone number. When I add my phone number to Paypal without a country code, it is registered as a British number, and I do not receive the codes they send me. However, when I type my number with +33 or 0033, PayPal tells me the number is invalid. How can I register my number as a French number?

Yeah this is a real pain. My banking and address information hasn't changed...just my phone number because My US phone doesn't work in Mexico.

I'm having the same problem. I have entered my UK phone number on my German PayPal account and because of the security check, it won't let me in! I didn't put +44 so PayPal in Germany is messaging the number without a code and its going nowhere

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.
