I Can't Receive Transfers

Hi , I'm a Lebanese National, Living in the Philippines and i recently opened a pay-pal account to receive payments for my online work and everything looked fine, my email got verified ,my address updated etc..but for some reason my client is unable to send me the money, and is saying that maybe i need to verify my account using my passport.

Once i went to settings to check my profile i found out that my Nationality is updated by default to Filipino and it cant be changed, and once trying to update my passport number i was unable to find my nationality on the list.

Would somebody please advise if this is the issue why i cant receive the transfer, and how can i change my nationality and Update my country and passport details

Openning a PayPal account is easy. You can send and receive payments and there are benefits of having an account. Just remember PayPal accounts are also cpliant with local financial regulations in the country it operates. So its possible that there is a reason why you're unable to receive the transfer. 

 

I would suggest you review your User Agreement

 

Finally, its possible that PayPal is not the best option for you.
