Cant't find my refund

Hi, hoping someone can help me with my query. I received a refund on 5th April for a cancelled hotel booking which I had paid for with PayPal credit (never again!). The refund was 'pending' for about 5 days at which time I contacted them and asked when it would be available. (Bearing in mind a refund on the same date from Booking.com was paid straight into my regular current account and available immediately.) So today I received an email telling me my refund had 'cleared' and would be available in my account - but it wasn't in either my Paypal balance or Paypal credit even though thats where the transaction history said it would be. The email said that if it wasn't showing up I should go into the history sub tab of my account to 'accept' the payment. I've never had to do this before and after a frustrating half an hour of searching I cannot find a history sub tab in my account. Any ideas anyone? Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

@Carol382

You can generally expect a refund to appear on your PayPal Credit account within 7-10 working days of the date the merchant processed the refund. Merchants have varying timeframes for processing refunds for returns.

Hi, thanks for the response but I had an email from Paypal telling me the refund had cleared and had been credited to my Paypal balance 10 days after i was refunded by the merchant. I can't open a resolution as Paypal says I already have my money back, but it's just stuck there as a credit. I was told in a PayPal email to go into the history sub tab to accept it which would make it appear in my Paypal credit account but I don't seem to have such a tab and have never had to do this before?
