Cannot log into my accout because I dont have my old phone number.

Hello there,

my phone number expired about 6 months ago and I forgot to change my phone number in account settings. Now they want from me to verify my phone number, but it does not exist anymore! 

I cannnot contact them anywhere, they do not respond on Twitter, on Facebook or if you want to send them a message on PayPal website, you have to be logged in which I cannot!

Is there anyone who can help?

Try:

1. Downloading the app to see if it will let you in to change / update it in the settings.

2. Use the forgotten password option several times.

3. Trying another browser that may let you in without phone verification (then change it when you have logged in).

4. Trying again another day when sometimes you can get in without doing the verification and then change the number.

5. Changing the password a few times sometimes works as it can bypass the phone verification.

If that does not work then you would need to contact customer services so that they can i.d. you another way and then add your new phone number to your account.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

Thank you for replying,

I downloaded the app and it still wants verification via phone number.

I tried to change my password several times, but it seems it kinda blocked my acc and it says now that I have to call centre.

I tried, but my phone said "this phone number does not exists, maybe it is because im from Czech Republic, not U.S.

I tried to write an email to them, they even respond, but if I want to view that email, I have to log in into my PayPal account, which I cannot 😞

Also I tried to write them on Twitter two days ago, no response to this day...

Also I tried contact them on Facebook, but only their robot appears and if I click on "contact support" it just says "We can't transfer you to a customer service agent at this time.", I tried this on Facebook even yesterday, same result..
