Cannot find any customer service for lost phone case

Hey all,

 

I just lost my phone, with the SIM card. And I will get a new phone and a new number. However, my PayPal account is linked with the Google Pay in the lost phone, which does not require a password to do contactless payment... I have been trying to block or change my PayPal account, but the two-step verification stops me when logging in. And I cannot get the 6 digits service code if I cannot log in. So the customer service hotline just does not even allow me to get into a call with the service staff. I called U.S. hotline which does not require so many things just to talk to the service staff, but they have no access to my account because it's in Germany.

 

I mean, how broken can a system be like this? Please suggest what I should do to solve my problem.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
