My water heater was leaking and 'causing water damage and also making mold in my house grow.
Myself and my dad who lives across the way from me have been working away at my house on different weekends.
We spent $600 on ($300 each) on new water heaters, some on pipe seal for my dad's house, and we have also tore up the walls and removed a lot of mold and damaged wall. Lot rent is $600 a month plus we have to pay for electricity, gas, etc, and other bills. I have started work again after being laid off for so long, but my first cheque won't be enough to cover a lot of things.
I started raising money on Twitch to help out with growing expenses 'cause I know some content creators/mildly successful streamers and they were able to help me get the word out.
I have raised $460 so far that is STUCK in PayPal. PayPal wants me to get "verified" by linking a bank in order to accept the payouts/donations from Twitch. No big deal right? Wrong. PayPal won't accept my phone number EVEN THOUGH IT'S ALREADY LINKED! Anytime I get to this "quick security check" screen after entering my bank details it just gives me an error. I spent a total of 50 minutes on hold for the first call that randomly disconnected and another 4 hours on hold on a second phone call in an attempt to get ahold of someone. At 4 hours and 7 minutes the call just disconnected for no reason. This was after the people on the little support chat thing gave me this lovely message:
"Sorry, adding bank is stopped by the security system. I show that our security system is needing additional verification to override the system. At this time these security verification's are not allowed through this channel. Request you to call our customer services team at[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]to complete the verification and get this resolved."
I just want to withdraw my money - money I need for bills by March 31st, 2020. What can I do to get my stuff verified or at the very least get ahold of someone to get my situated sorted?
