So i am a dutch citizen with dutch credentials/passport living in the US. During my paypal account creation i was asked for an SSN (which i dont have because I'm not a citizen, just an immigrant for now). I ended up having to input anything in there because the process cant continue until that spot is fillled. Now I'm being asked to provide proof of my SSN and a US id, both of which i dont have. My question isn't what to do at this stage since i somewhat brought all that on myself by lying in the first place. My question is; for immigrants with living complications like mine how do we get past this blockage? Ive got no ssn, no US ID. all i Have are my immigration paperwork that qualifies me to be in the US and my dutch passport. Or is my only hope just trying to register from my country of origin?
