Needing more flexibilty in Paypal buttons!

Very new to the business...I have a basic paypal ( free) where I can add payment buttons to my website. Wondering if I should upgrade to $30 a month account, if options are more flexible on setting up payment buttons. I can use drop down menu to add items, but there is no way ( that i can see) to set to then recalculate shipping etc? or if they want to buy one of these, and one of these,  etc, i can't figure out how to get it to recalculate etc. For example, I want to offer free shipping on orders over 4, but how do i do that? It just offers one shipping fee. Or, if someone buys from out of state it should not charge sales tax, but there seems to be no way to safeguard against that.

Does the $30 plan offer a shopping cart and these flexibilities? Thanks for any help! SC

Hi Susanna,

I assume you're referring to Website Payments Pro. No, this wouldn't offer the features you're looking for.

Website Payments Pro would allow you to accept card payments directly on your own site, without the buyer having to leave PayPal.

What you're looking for is not currently offered with PayPal. You'd need your own developer to develop this for you.

From a PayPal point of view, the same charges you pay now (per transaction) would apply.

If you do not have a developer, or don't know where to find one, you could take a look at the PayPal Certified Developer directory. These are third-party developers who have passed a certification PayPal integrations / technology.

You can find this directoy on https://www.paypal-portal.com/directory/

Hope this helps.
