Need some advice for invoicing customers

Hi all,

I'm working on a site which would like to use PayPal as their billing source. We already have a shopping cart through PayPal and people can purchase items through that. But, we are trying to set up another site for the same items that is wholesale. So, my client wants an option of "select" for someone to choose whichever item they want, then once they finalize and submit their order, they won't have to pay right then. My client will receive the order request, then bill them so that they can pay.

How can I do this with PayPal? Is there some kind of select option where they won't pay, but the receiver will be notified of the items requested? If not with PayPal, what would be the best place to do this?

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Hello CGDesigns,

Welcome to the Forums.

PayPal's system is set up to accept payment at the Point of Sale, so it would not work for buyers to shop on the website sending an order request and receive payment at a later time. However if you are able to set your website up to accept order requests you can then send the buyers a PayPal invoice to pay using their PayPal account or a credit card.

I hope this makes sense.
