Unauthorized Transaction Dispute

I am a fairly new seller and am experiencing an unpleasant situation right now.  I sold a pair of shoes to a buyer with an established and perfectly rated account.  She (or someone else) used her ebay account to purchase the item.  The item was paid for right away, and I shipped it the next day.  I used Ebay and Paypal to purchase the Priority postage so the tracking info was automatically uploaded.  I shipped it to her Verified Paypal Address.  She never contacted me prior to shipping to state that it was unauthorized.  I know both Ebay and Paypal send out notifications after a sale.  She never contacted me after I shipped the items either. She still has not contacted me to offer to return the item for a full refund.  Instead she filed a Paypal dispute claiming the transaction was unauthorized.  The item was delivered to her address 3 days ago.  Paypal has access to this tracking information.  This is very frustrating because the dispute information just states why she filed the complaint and that Paypal is aware that my tracking has been uploaded.  It states they are "reviewing the case".  I have emailed Paypal regarding it and I just receive automated responses telling me to be patient.  I figured as soon as Paypal viewed the confirmed delivery I would have access to the funds they are holding. I thought they would try to recoup the funds from the buyers bank, but protect me since I followed procedure perfectly. Right now the buyer has the item in her possession and is presumably also receiving a provisional credit from her financial institution. So for now, she is getting the item for free.  In the meantime I am out a significant amount of money. I  wanted to know if anyone else has been through this and what kind of time frame should I expect.  I read it could take up to 45 days!  That seems absurd.  It seems to be a very simple case.  Paypal should take the loss or at least require the buyer to return the "unauthorized" item is she wishes not to pay for it.

I had the same thing happen EXCEPT that I hand delivered the items (because we lived fairly close to each other) and the buyer actually gave me positive ebay feedback stating it was hand delivered. Then 29 days later he filed an unauthorized purchase claim. He won't answer phone, or email or ebay message. Paypal took the money out of my account. Then I spoke to supervisor who told me I "won" and they returned the money to me, and now this morning the money is gone again plus a $20 fee and the case is closed. I've been on hold with paypal for 59 minutes now and I'm supposedly on hold for a supervisor. I am so frustrated as the buyer has my money and the product. HOW CAN HE WIN?
