Hello all
According to PayPal Seller Protection policy, Seller Protection does not cover for items that are picked up locally or in person.
There is idea contributed on the forum such as paying deposit in PayPal and final payment settle in cash at store or when the person collect the good.
As a merchant selling goods on website and allowing customers to collect in boutique, we wish to provide customer the best shopping experience so that they can just walk in and pick up the item in store without taking out their wallet. The only supporting proof on hand is the delivery tracking from warehouse to boutique, but I don't think it constitute a valid evidence as it is not a customer registered address in PayPal.
Is there any alternative ways to implement (paying by PayPal but collect in store) at the same time protected from chargeback e.g. goods not received?
Thank you very much for the help!
