Hi all,
I'm new to paypal and quite naive i realise now :-(.
I placed an advert on Gumtree and received 2 emails from different people interested in the sale.
After giving my email adress and home address and paypal full namem the person proceeded to send me money but 'extra to pay a courier'.
I immediately realised that this was a scam and obviously haven't done anything else.
I queried it on Paypal and had an 'assurance of transfer' email back saying this was 100% genuine.
I still don't believe this, emailed them both back saying i had reported them.
I'm worried now as they have some details of mine they can access accounts?
I have no money in the paypal account £0, and i have no cards linked to it.
Am i safe? What should i do?
