Refund on family friends

Sold item on gumtree. Asked for goods via PayPal. Appears paid via family friends due to no fees or address or eligibility showing. If I refund and say goods again will I have complications. Do not want them to say not refunded or I get charged Tec Someone tried to sting me before when I didn't fully understand family and friends. Lucky I kept proof of sending via post and signature

If you are selling goods or services you should not be using family/friends payments. That should only be used to actually send family or friends money that you owe them for some reason, in which case disputes/refunds would not be occurring.

Family/friends payments are not covered by any seller protection or buyer protection. If you want to refund that payment that's up to you, and then you can do whatever you want with the item at that point. They would not be able to claim anything about the payment/refund because it was family/friends.

Thank you. That's what I thought. Not happy with address either they requested me to send to. So if I refund it straight back I will have no issues and wont be charged by PayPal as it is a straight refund

Thank. I refunded it yesterday and requested via goods. All sorted now. Think they tried to pull a fast one.
