Just sold a high ticket item on ebay to a 0 feedback seller. Payment was made, cleared and he has a verified address.
Something just doesn't seem right that a 0 feedback buyer would make his first purchase a $1K purchase.
I have done 200+ transactions on ebay and am familiar with selling, however are there any further ways I can go about protecting myself against a potential scam/charge back?

He may have opened his Paypal account especially to buy your item maybe?
Are the funds actually showing in your Paypal account balance?
If so then all you can do is to read up on Paypal seller protection in Paypals user agreement so you can risk assess the transaction.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
