Unlinking bank account before closing the paypal account in india

I want to use a bank account in my current paypal account but it is linked to an older paypal account, which I can't unlink it from due to it asking for a new bank account for auto transfers (indian account)

Would closing the account automatically unlink the bank account, or at least make it so that I can link it to my new account? Or is there a way to unlink the bank account on the older paypal account? I haven't even finished KYC or done any transactions on that paypal account so it's completely dead and nothing is in it.

Why don't you just use the old one instead as your bank is already linked to it?

sorry, i should have mentioned why i'm doing this in the first place

initially i had misunderstood what type of account to make and had opted for a business account and now realised a personal account should be enough, i also do not plan to establish a business so it doesn't seem right for my needs so after a few months of thinking it over i decided to scrap that and just make a personal account for now, if i ever do need to, i can always upgrade it to a business account but it's unlikely, so i don't want to keep using that account

Then downgrade it?

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, but you can contact customer services and they will do that for you.
