How to change name on business account?

I had a personal account under my OC online name as I am a streamer and did not want my real name available to be seen at the time. When switching to a business account I was not able to change my name (option was greyed out). I have since been trying to change my 'fake' name to my real name so I can send in my documentations but I keep getting emails saying 'name does not match name on account', etc. I have even put a note when sending in my documentations that the name I am using on the account was a fake one to protect me when I had a personal account and would like to switch it to my real one. How can I fix this? I don't want to close the account and lose the option to use my email address.

If the name on the account is not a name that was ever your legal name, it is not likely that a name change will be possible. Names can be changed on an account in the following circumstances:

A legal name change

A minor misspelling

And in the case of an account for a registered business, a change in the designated contact for the company.

Changing from a fictitious name (or, as in your case, a name unrelated to your legal name) to a legally recognized name is not something that is supported. If the account is not currently limited, you may wish to close the account and open an account using the correct information.

Won't I lose the ability to use my email though if I close it? I do not have another email for it and dont really want to create another one for it.
