Hi all! Hoping someone here can help.
I've had various issues with my PayPal account recently, so I want to close it and start fresh to make things easier. I can't delete my account, however, because of a 'pending' subscription payment from 2016. I've spoken to the company responsible (I think it was a weird bug on their part as a payment for the same amount went through on the same day) and was told the only way to fix this was to delete my account with them. So I did. But I still cannot delete my account and customer service cannot delete it for me because this 'pending' transaction is still there. There doesn't seem to be any way either PayPal or this company can remove this payment. It will be stuck 'pending' for eternity it seems!
Anyone have any ideas how to elevate this issue with PayPal? I presume someone can override this and delete my account. The payment is totally null and is never going to go through—I've had it confirmed by the company.
