to close an account, the account must not:
to be restricted
have a dispute over it
you will have to delete your means of payment, and have no balance on it.
Go to Account Settings.
Click Account Preferences on the left.
Click Close Account next to Account Type.
Here's how to close your account in the PayPal app:
Log in to your PayPal app.
Click on the More option (three dots located at the bottom right of the screen).
Click the Settings options from the drop-down menu.
Click Account Information from the drop-down menu.
The option to Close your account will then be displayed.
Here's what happens when you close your account:
All unpaid payment requests are automatically cancelled.
You lose any unused promotional code or coupon.
