Hi all! I have a private Paypal account in Thailand for about 10 years and use it very often. I recently received a message from support that Paypal in Thailand is doing a relaunch and now I need to be a citizen in order to continue using this account. The message did not say what a non-citizen should do in order to use the account further. I am a resident of Thailand, but still I will not be able to use the account as before. Maybe someone knows what to do. I will be very grateful for any information. Thank you!
yes, I have the same problem. I have an account already for + 10 years and since 2017 I am resident in Thailand. But I am a foreigner and will never be able to get a NDID here, for that you need to be thai. This is not something Paypal thought over very well.
