Post code zip code not recognised on paypal

I'm trying to add a new bank card to my account, when I put in my new address the system refused to accept my post code/zip code, its says in not correct but its the same as my address and on my bank statements!  <removed> is a valid postcode for Cambridge, UK.  Anyone any ideas how to move past this please?

Yes but you have opened a French paypal account so you can't add UK information to it !!!!
