Paypal Won't let me close my account

Hello,

I just opened this account on paypal and now I'm already regretting it 🙂

First of all, after I verified my phone and email address, I tried to add my CC , but for some reason it failed, didn't provide any details it just said ask for support.
Then, I bought what i wanted to buy using directly my CC and said, well , let's close this paypal account, and now it's saying "something went wrong , contact customer service" ... Again very informative.

- I don't have a CC on my account

- My balance is 0

- the account was basically just opened

and ti won't let me close it !!??

Could someone help please?

You may have to verify the account by adding and confirming a credit card before you can close it?

I'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR YEARS! SINCE THEY CHANGED SERVICES / I BELIEVE BANKS!!! THEY ARE THE WORST TO GET ANY RESULTS FROM!! AND WHEN THEY DO GET BACK TO YOU THAY ARE NO HELP AT ALL! TODAY I GOT THROUGH TO THEM AND SPOKE TO A REAL PERSON AND I HAVE TO SAY I COULD UNDERSTAND HIM AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL!!! THAT'S ONE TIME OUT OF MANY!!
